Florence Pugh’s Mullet Haircut Is On Trend With The Season’s Hottest Hairstyle
Welcome to TZR’s Celebrity Hair Transformation Watch – in today’s episode you’ll be shocked to find that actress Florence Pugh is the latest star to cut a few inches. Short layered hairstyles have a moment right now, as evidenced by the countless celebrities going under the scissors to pursue a cool new look, so Florence Pugh’s mullet haircut, which is taking the internet, seems just in time.
Pugh’s new avant-garde style is nostalgic, but fresh, much like the ‘bixie’ style (aka a bob-hybrid pixie) which is becoming more and more popular right now. Given that everything retro is back, it’s safe to say that the actress’ look – and similar short, layered backs – is one of the biggest hair trends for winter 2021.
Pugh has yet to reveal the mastermind behind his epic chop. She did, however, give fans a good look at the new style, which she debuted on October 30 on Instagram via a series of two photos in which she dons an embroidered knit bra with her name on it and minimal makeup. But, of course, the star of the look are the short, fragmented strands, which appear to be wet, as if they are stepping out of the shower. She captioned the photos from the home photoshoot so simply, “I did something.”
Some reports say Pugh’s hair change is for his upcoming movie titled A good person, but this remains to be confirmed. Either way, her fellow Hollywood stars approve of the look. Joey King commented: “I love it”, while Ariana Grande wrote: “I cry […] superb. ”As of this writing, the photo has garnered two million likes and is counting.
Pugh even gave his five million Instagram followers an honest, non-glamorous idea of what his short hair looks like right after waking up. “The headboard takes on a whole new meaning with these short locks,” she wrote in text overlay on the video.
So what do you think? Ready to take the plunge and try a bold style like Pugh’s? Otherwise, it’s A-OK. Remember: Face framing layers or a layered bob will also work well with the winter hair trend. You do not need go all out … but know that you would look good if you did.
